Browser code execution via undisclosed BSP XSS
Published Feb 14, 2023 · Updated Mar 20, 2025
Cross-site scripting in affected SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP BSP Framework releases allows remote attackers to execute injected browser code. SAP identifies BC-BSP as affected but has not published the input field or encoding failure that places attacker-controlled code in a rendered page. Exploitation requires a user to open attacker-supplied content; the script can read sensitive data and alter browser-visible application data.
