Browser script execution through reflected input
Published Mar 14, 2023 · Updated Feb 27, 2025
XSS in ClearPass Policy Manager 6.9.13 and earlier, 6.10.8 and earlier, and 6.11.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute browser scripts. HPE has not disclosed the affected request parameter or the server-side output operation that returns attacker-controlled input without context-appropriate encoding. Exploitation requires a victim to open an attacker-crafted request, enabling script execution in that victim's management-interface origin.
