Stored XSS via unsanitized RichTextField HTML
Published Feb 13, 2023 · Updated Mar 10, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in Marmelab react-admin before 3.19.12 and 4.0.0 through 4.7.5 allows remote authenticated users to run script. RichTextField passes record HTML to dangerouslySetInnerHTML without client-side sanitization, so embedded event handlers execute during rendering. Exploitation requires RichTextField use, unsanitized server data, and a user who views the malicious record, exposing browser-accessible data and actions.
