Authenticated script execution via file-upload parameter tampering
Published Apr 18, 2023 · Updated Feb 12, 2025
Cross-site scripting in Schneider Electric EcoStruxure IT Data Center Expert 7.9.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run script. The DCE file-upload endpoint fails to neutralize tampered HTTP parameters before incorporating them into a generated web page. Exploitation requires high privileges and user interaction; injected script executes in the affected user's browser and can read or alter data available to that session.
