CVE-2023-25530

Code execution via KVM input validation failure

Published Sep 20, 2023 · Updated Sep 24, 2024

Improper input validation in NVIDIA DGX H100 BMC before 23.08.07 allows remote authenticated users to execute code through the KVM service. The KVM service accepts attacker-controlled input without adequate validation, but NVIDIA has not disclosed the affected request, parser, or operation. Exploitation requires low-privilege access from an adjacent network and can also disclose information, elevate privileges, or interrupt the BMC.
