CVE-2023-25518

Physical-access arbitrary memory read/write via unprotected PCIe

Published Jun 23, 2023 · Updated Nov 29, 2024

Improper isolation in CBoot in NVIDIA Jetson AGX Xavier before 32.7.4 allows physically proximate attackers to read and write arbitrary memory via PCIe. CBoot initializes the PCIe controller without an IOMMU, leaving device memory insufficiently restricted. Physical access is required, and successful access can enable code execution, denial of service, information disclosure, and loss of integrity.
