Untrusted pointer dereference in NVIDIA GPU Display Driver allows local users to execute code, escalate privileges, or crash systems. The driver parses unexpected untrusted data as a pointer and dereferences it, but NVIDIA does not identify the responsible component or input path. Exploitation requires local low-privileged access; successful use can also alter or disclose data, while malformed input can interrupt the host.
