CVE-2023-25510

Tool interruption via malformed-binary null dereference

Published Apr 22, 2023 · Updated Feb 4, 2025

NULL pointer dereference in NVIDIA CUDA Toolkit before 12.1 Update 1 allows local users to interrupt cuobjdump with a malformed binary. cuobjdump dereferences a null pointer while processing the malformed input, but NVIDIA has not identified the affected routine or binary structure. The user must locally invoke cuobjdump on the file, and the reported consequence is limited to interruption of that process.
