Authenticated SSRF via unrestricted dataset import URL
Published Apr 17, 2023 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
Server-side request forgery in Apache Superset 2.0.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to query internal resources through dataset import. The dataset importer follows the data URL supplied in imported metadata without restricting requests to expected destinations. Access to dataset import with specific permissions is required, and resulting requests originate from the Superset server.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
