Authenticated web interface disruption via format string

Format string injection in Lenovo XClarity Controller allows remote authenticated users to interrupt its web interface through an API request. A web interface API interprets attacker-controlled input as a format string, permitting formatting directives to affect processing. Any valid authenticated account can reach the flaw; a successful denial of service lasts until XCC is rebooted, while Lenovo leaves the other possible behavior undefined.
