Published May 16, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Authorization bypass in EventPrime Events RegistrationMagic 5.2.0.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to change any user password. The password-update path referenced in class_rm_utilities.php trusts a caller-controlled user object when selecting the account whose password is replaced. Administrator-level access is required; on WordPress multisite, the operation can reset a super-administrator password and enable account takeover.
