Unauthorized actions via missing form nonces
Published May 23, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
CSRF in Podlove Podcast Publisher 3.8.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to force unspecified actions through a logged-in user. The affected forms accept state-changing submissions without WordPress nonces; upstream does not identify the individual forms or actions. Exploitation requires a logged-in privileged user to open attacker-controlled content, and consequences are bounded by that user's permissions.
