Missing authorization in Nate Reist Protected Posts Logout Button 1.4.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to modify plugin settings. The option-saving function accepts configuration updates without checking the requester's WordPress role and stores unescaped input. No account or user interaction is required; changed settings can alter protected-post logout behavior and interrupt its intended operation.
