Published Apr 25, 2023 · Updated Feb 3, 2025
OS command injection in World Wide Broadcast Network AVideo before 12.4 allows remote attackers to execute code via an embedded video link. The Embed a video link workflow passes the supplied URL, including backtick-delimited text, to an OS command without neutralizing shell metacharacters. A crafted link reaches command execution without privileges or user interaction and runs commands with the web service's permissions.
