Heap-based buffer overflow in GNU LibreDWG 0.12.5 allows context-dependent attackers to crash or execute code via a crafted DWG file. The dwg2dxf call path passes crafted input to bit_read_RC, which reads dat->chain[dat->byte] one byte before the allocated buffer. Opening or converting the file is required; demonstrated consequences are an application abort and out-of-bounds memory access, while code execution is reported but not demonstrated.
