SSH service-operation log disclosure via Element Manager
Published Sep 25, 2024 · Updated Oct 29, 2024
Information disclosure in Nokia ASIKA Airscale before Single RAN 24R1 allows local users to read Nokia Care SSH service-operation logs. The BTS design sends the SSH command log, including service personnel operations, to the operator-facing Element Management GUI without enforcing access privileges. Access requires operator connectivity to the internal management network during a maintenance window with BTS SSH enabled; external user devices, roaming networks, and the internet cannot reach the flaw.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
