Privilege escalation in Nokia ASIKA Airscale Single RAN releases 19B through 21A allows local users to execute code as root. Multiple unit files under /etc/systemd/system are world-writable, allowing a local user to alter definitions for services executed with root privileges. Exploitation requires local BTS access with high existing privileges and user interaction; successful abuse controls the affected root-run service.
