Remote code execution via unsigned firmware loading
Published Jul 13, 2023 · Updated Mar 5, 2025
Insufficient firmware authenticity verification in Honeywell Experion PKS C300 Controller allows remote attackers to execute code. The controller's firmware-loading path accepts malicious firmware without verifying its cryptographic authenticity before installation. Unauthenticated network delivery of a firmware image enables attacker-controlled code to run with the controller's authority, affecting process confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
