Uncontrolled DLL search in Trend Micro Apex One 2019 before 14.0.0.11564 allows local users with administrative rights to bypass agent protection. During a specific agent update process, DLL resolution accepts an attacker-crafted library from an uncontrolled search-path location. Administrative access is required, and successful exploitation lets subsequent activity evade the agent protection intended for the endpoint.
