Remote code execution via uncontrolled search path
Published Mar 7, 2023 · Updated Mar 5, 2025
Uncontrolled search path handling in the Trend Micro Apex One Server installer before 14.0.0.11564 allows remote attackers to execute code. Trend Micro has not disclosed which executable or library is searched or how an attacker controls the selected directory. Network reachability is sufficient without authentication or user interaction, and the vendor bounds the reported consequence to service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
