Heap overflow in Honeywell Experion station and server products allows remote attackers to interrupt service via a crafted configuration message. The configuration-operation message handler writes beyond a heap buffer while processing the message; Honeywell has not disclosed the affected function or field. Unauthenticated network access is sufficient, and the established operational consequence is loss of station or server availability.
