Stored XSS via unsanitized admin settings
Published Apr 6, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in PINPOINT.WORLD Pinpoint Booking System 2.9.9.2.8 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run scripts. Admin settings accept content without sufficient input sanitization and later render it without adequate output escaping, persisting attacker-controlled script code. Exploitation requires Administrator privileges and either WordPress multisite or disabled unfiltered_html; the injected code runs when a user opens an affected page.
