CVE-2023-25050Known exploitationNetwork attack vector

Authenticated file read via table shortcode URL

Published May 17, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026

Arbitrary file read in Vova Anokhin Shortcodes Ultimate 5.12.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read server files. The su_shortcode_table function passes the user-controlled table shortcode URL to su_parse_csv, whose PHP file call returns the referenced file contents. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, but exploitation requires the Unsafe features option; exposed files can include sensitive WordPress configuration.
