Cross-site request forgery in Social Media Icons Widget 1.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to submit forged administrative requests. Public advisories identify missing or incorrect nonce validation in a state-changing function but do not name the function or resulting setting change. Exploitation requires an administrator to open an attacker-controlled link or page while authenticated, allowing an unintended request to execute with that session.
