Administrator-session script execution via unescaped order_by parameter
Published Jun 5, 2023 · Updated Jan 8, 2025
Reflected XSS in 10Web Social Post Feed before 1.2.9 allows remote attackers to run script in an administrator's browser. The info_ffwd admin page writes the POST order_by value into an HTML input value without sanitizing or context-appropriate escaping. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to receive the crafted form submission and activate the injected access key, bounding impact to actions available in that browser session.
