Code execution via out-of-bounds PSKernel access

Out-of-bounds memory access in Autodesk AutoCAD and Maya 2022 and 2023 allows attackers to execute code via a crafted PSKernel DLL. The PSKernel component reads or writes beyond an intended buffer while processing the crafted DLL; Autodesk has not disclosed the affected routine. A user must open or otherwise process the file, and successful exploitation executes code with the privileges of the current process.
