PHP object injection via unsafe settings deserialization
Published Nov 22, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
PHP object injection in DeluxeThemes UserPro 5.1.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to invoke unsafe deserialization via a forged request. The import_settings function accepts user-supplied settings without effective nonce validation and passes the supplied value to PHP unserialize(). Exploitation requires a site administrator to act on an attacker-controlled link, after which a suitable object chain can compromise site data or interrupt service.
