Remote code execution via PGM heap overflow

A heap-based buffer overflow in Microsoft Windows PGM allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through crafted network data. The PGM implementation writes attacker-controlled message data beyond a heap buffer, but Microsoft has not disclosed the affected function or exact parsing operation. Exploitation requires the Windows Message Queuing service to be enabled and operating in a PGM server environment; no authentication or user interaction is required.
