An out-of-bounds read in Win32k in Microsoft Windows 11 21H2 and 22H2 allows local users to elevate privileges. Microsoft identifies the component and weakness but has not published the affected function, attacker-controlled input, or invalid bounds operation. The gate is existing low-privileged local access, after which the attacker gains higher privileges on the affected host.
