Authenticated memory disclosure via printer-driver buffer over-read
Published Mar 14, 2023 · Updated Feb 28, 2025
A buffer over-read in Microsoft PostScript and PCL6 printer drivers allows remote authenticated users to disclose memory from affected Windows hosts. Microsoft identifies the driver class and CWE-126 but has not published the parser, input field, or incorrect length operation that crosses the buffer boundary. Low-privileged network access is required; the reported consequence is memory disclosure without data modification or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
