CVE-2023-24836Network attack vector

Authenticated code execution via path-traversing upload

Published Apr 27, 2023 · Updated Jan 30, 2025

Path traversal in Sunnet CTMS 7.0 1227 allows remote authenticated users to execute uploaded scripts from arbitrary system directories. The file-upload function bypasses file checks and writes attacker-supplied scripts into directories selected through a crafted path. General user access is sufficient, and successful exploitation permits arbitrary system operations or a service interruption.
