Information disclosure in Anchore Syft 0.69.0 through 0.69.1 allows attackers to read an attestation password from generated output. The internal/config attest structure serializes the Password field populated from SYFT_ATTEST_PASSWORD into debug configuration logs and syft-json SBOM or attestation output. Exposure requires that the environment variable contain a credential; debug logging reveals it for any command, while syft-json attestations can publish it to an OCI registry.
