Persisted cross-site scripting via unfiltered PATH_INFO

Cross-site scripting in TYPO3 CMS frontend rendering allows remote attackers to persist malicious HTML through crafted PATH_INFO requests. GeneralUtility::getIndpEnv() treats the unfiltered PATH_INFO server variable as SCRIPT_NAME, and derived values enter URI and HTML contexts without encoding. The prominent path requires config.absRefPrefix=auto, an uncached page, PHP-CGI, and a later visitor, whose browser executes the cached payload.
