Privilege escalation via unchecked UI extension permissions

Missing authorization in M-Files Client before 23.5.12598.0 allows local users to elevate privileges through UI extension applications. The client fails to enforce required access-permission checks when a UI extension application requests privileged functionality. Exploitation requires a low-privileged user to connect to an attacker-controlled external vault and separately accept its application, enabling unauthorized access to or alteration of protected data.
