Code execution via unfiltered offline plugin installation
Published Mar 6, 2023 · Updated Mar 6, 2025
Code injection in Funadmin 3.2.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute PHP code through the offline plugin installation workflow. The Addon.php installer accepts an uploaded archive containing an attacker-controlled plugin controller without filtering its PHP code, then exposes that controller through an add-on route. The demonstrated path requires access to the background offline-install workflow; the cited materials do not establish how that access is obtained.
