Unauthenticated command execution via LocalIPAddress injection
Published Mar 13, 2023 · Updated Mar 3, 2025
OS command injection in D-Link DIR-867 firmware 1.30B07 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands through the HNAP1 interface. The SetVirtualServerSettings action uses the attacker-controlled LocalIPAddress value in an operating-system command without neutralizing command syntax. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation can expose, alter, or interrupt the router.
