Stored script execution via unneutralized dictionary entries
Published Apr 5, 2023 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in JFinal CMS 5.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through /system/dict/list. The dictionary-list component persists attacker-controlled strings in its database and later places them into generated pages without neutralization. Low-privileged access is required to submit the string, and a separate user must load the affected page for script execution in that user's browser.
