Authenticated database disclosure via gender-field SQL injection
Published Mar 15, 2023 · Updated Feb 27, 2025
SQL injection in Simple Customer Relationship Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read or alter database data. The profile.php update handler incorporates the gender form value into an SQL statement without neutralizing quote characters, letting crafted input reach the database parser. A registered customer must sign in and submit a modified profile-update request; the published procedure uses SQLmap to enumerate the database and dump its records.
