Stored script execution via unsanitized topology name
Published Apr 10, 2023 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in LiveAction LiveSP 21.1.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in other users' browsers. The /va/service/bach/topology/element API stores the unneutralized name POST parameter and later renders it on the /va/cluster page. Exploitation requires an authenticated request and another authenticated user to view that page, exposing the viewer's session and permitted actions to attacker-controlled script.
