CVE-2023-24709Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Login service crash via unneutralized JavaScript input

Published Mar 21, 2023 · Updated Feb 28, 2025

Code injection in the Paradox Security Systems IPR512 web panel allows remote attackers to crash the login service without authentication. The login form writes a URL-encoded JavaScript closing tag supplied as the username into login.xml without adequate neutralization, leaving login.html unavailable. Network access to the integrated account-management web page is sufficient, and exploitation damages the login service without reported disclosure or alteration of monitored account data.
