Administrator-level stored XSS via unescaped Feed URL
Published May 30, 2023 · Updated Jan 10, 2025
Stored XSS in David Merinas Add to Feedly 1.2.11 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script via the Feed URL setting. The plugin stores the Feed URL setting without sanitizing or escaping it, so a crafted value executes when the settings form is saved. Administrator-level access is required, and injected script runs in the browser context despite unfiltered_html being disabled.
