Published Jan 24, 2024 · Updated Oct 17, 2025
Code injection in ProcessWire 3.0.210 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary PHP through remote module installation. The module installer accepts an administrator-supplied download_zip_url, fetches the referenced ZIP archive, and executes PHP contained in the installed module. The CVE is disputed because administrators are intentionally permitted to install arbitrary module code; the demonstration also requires debug mode.
