Database data extraction via profile name SQL injection

Published Mar 23, 2023 · Updated Feb 25, 2025

SQL injection in Simple Customer Relationship Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to extract database data through Profile Update. The profile.php handler incorporates the submitted name value into a database update query without neutralizing SQL syntax, enabling injected subqueries. A self-registered customer session is sufficient; the published proof demonstrates time-based query execution and database dumping.
