Database disclosure via sid parameter SQL injection
Published Mar 3, 2023 · Updated Mar 6, 2025
SQL injection in Judging Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read database contents through the sid query parameter. The updateBlankTxtview.php endpoint interprets the untrusted sid value as SQL syntax; the published payload invokes MySQL updatexml and embeds a database() query in the resulting error. A crafted unauthenticated GET request is sufficient; the demonstration proves database-name disclosure, while broader read, write, or execution effects are not established.
