Administrator-authenticated denial of service via stack overwrite
Published Feb 3, 2023 · Updated Mar 26, 2025
Stack overflow in Array Networks AG Series and vxAG through 9.4.0.470 allows remote authenticated users to crash the UI backend. After an administrator accesses the system, the UI exposes the gdb tool in a way that permits overwriting the backend binary's function call stack. Administrator privileges are required, and successful exploitation interrupts the user-interface service without reported confidentiality or integrity impact.
