Resource consumption in F5 BIG-IP products allows remote attackers to interrupt service with traffic to an SSL-enabled virtual server. F5 identifies TMM SSL processing as the locus but has not disclosed how the traffic drives excessive CPU or SSL accelerator utilization. The target must expose a virtual server configured with an SSL profile; the documented consequence is reduced availability, not data access or modification.
