Uninitialized pointer access in Siemens Solid Edge SE2022 and SE2023 allows attackers to execute code via a crafted PAR file. The PAR-file parser accesses an uninitialized pointer while processing attacker-controlled file content, corrupting memory used by the current process. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted file, after which code runs with the privileges of the Solid Edge process.
