Out-of-bounds read in Siemens Solid Edge SE2022 before 222.0MP12 and SE2023 before 223.0Update2 allows attackers to execute code. The PAR-file parser reads beyond the end of an allocated structure when processing a specially crafted part file. Exploitation requires a local user to open the malicious file, after which code runs in the current Solid Edge process and the application can crash.
