Buffer overflow in Arista EOS 4.22.1F through 4.25.0F allows adjacent attackers to stop egress forwarding via malformed VXLAN packets. The hardware forwarding path copies a malformed or truncated tunneled packet without checking its size; Arista does not identify the specific routine or buffer. Exposure requires an affected R3 switch with IP routing, VXLAN, and a routable extended VLAN or VNI configured, and affected ports remain unable to pass traffic.
