CVE-2023-24546Network attack vector

Database state exposure and modification via authorization flaws

Published Jun 13, 2023 · Updated Jan 6, 2025

Improper authorization in CloudVision Portal allows remote authenticated users to read or write telemetry and configuration database state. The authorization layer grants certain device-client accounts access to database regions beyond their intended scope, adding write access in later affected releases. Network access and credentials for the specific account type are normally required; clusters first deployed on 2022.2.0 or 2022.2.1 also expose an unauthenticated path.
